Abstract Submission

Online abstract submission is CLOSED as of midnight on Tuesday 30th April 2019.  All authors will be notified of the outcome of their submission by end of May/early June 2019.    

Please note: All attendees including speakers and those presenting a podium or poster presentation are required to fully register and make their own travel and hotel accommodation arrangements.

The organising committee welcomes abstract paper submissions for Oral (Podium) and Poster presentations. 

There is no limitation as far as number of submissions are concerned. However, the organising committee has the right to reject papers should the author not follow the prescribed guidelines. 


  • Abstracts should be clear, concise, written and presented in English.

  • Abstracts will be published as submitted.

  • The corresponding author is requested to carefully proofread their abstract.

  • The abstract body must not exceed 350 words.

  • Abstracts must include the following sections:

    1. Introduction

    2. Materials and Methods

    3. Results

    4. Conclusions

  • Do NOT include tables, images, references, credits or grant support.


  • Abstracts may be submitted to be presented from the Podium (Oral) OR as a Poster.

  • Use a short, specific title. The title should be entered in UPPER CASE.

  • Ensure all author names and their respective institutions are stated correctly.

  • For Poster presentations, specific guidelines about printing your posters, size, setting up etc. will be provided here in due course.

Faculty (Speakers)

Faculty Panel Members for Meeting Symposia

The organising committee welcome the proposal of faculty panel members and symposia to coincide with the following topics: 

- Limb Lengthening
- Foot and Ankle
- Nonunion
- Upper limb
- Orthoplastic reconstruction
- Bone infection
- Paediatrics
- Trauma
- Peri-articular reconstruction and joint salvage
- New adjuncts, techniques and devices
- Reconstructive amputation and advances in prosthetic management
- Oncoreconstruction


Each session lasts for 45 minutes and in each there will be three lectures for which the timing will be 12 minutes for the lecture and 3 minutes for questions. 

The organising committee welcome your proposal for three lectures/topics to be delivered and the names of the proposed speakers. The speakers can originate from the same country or from different countries if you happen to know them personally and can get their agreement to participate. The three lectures do not need to belong to the same symposium theme as the organising committee can re-arrange the proposed lectures to suit the themes as indicated above.

All proposed lectures will then be considered by an International and Local Scientific committee who will choose the lectures and confirm their acceptance as soon as possible to enable all speakers to register before the early bird fee deadline.

  • Chosen symposium (as per the provisional programme) 

  • Name of proposed Speakers with Professional affiliation (of the national / regional society)

  • Email ID of each speaker

  • Suggested titles of each presentations

  • Please note each symposia time slot in the programme (subject to change) is 45 minutes

The final decision of acceptance lies with the organising committee.
